I'm selling off all of my AK stuff due to having less time to shoot now. This is a great deal; these rifles new and unmodified are £1000, and the other parts are worth over another £1000. The furniture on this rifle (from Zenitco) is almost completely unobtainable now due to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, and several other parts were difficult and expensive to source, requiring imports from America. I doubt there are many other rifles in the UK like this, and you definitely won't get one at this price. It's a very fun rifle, and I've put in a great deal of work on it to make it as good as it can be. Shoots around 2.5 MOA with good quality factory brass-cased ammo, and around 4 MOA with the included copper washed milsurp.
The rifle itself has had the following modifications:
- Buttstock replaced with AR-style buffer tube, Magpul stock, and cheek riser
- Trigger replaced with ALG AKT trigger (ALG is a sister company to Geissele, very nice trigger)
- Grip replaced by Magpul MOE grip, including a storage compartment
- Safety selector replaced by Krebs, allowing for operation with one hand and a cutout slot to use as a bolt hold open
- Front handguard and top dust cover replaced by Zenitco B-30U handguard and B-33 railed dust cover, allowing mounting of accessories and optics
- Gas tube replaced by Ultimak rail, allowing mounting of further-forward optics like a red dot or scout scope if desired
- Primary Arms 3x prism scope, with an illuminated ACSS reticle specifically designed for use with 7.62x39
The additional parts are as follows:
- 211 rounds of 7.62x39 copper washed milsurp ammo (non-corrosive)
- 3 30-round steel magazines
- 1 30-round bakelite (polymer) magazine
- Original wooden furniture (stock, front handguard, gas tube) and bakelite grip
- Original trigger, safety, and dust cover
- Canvas sling
- Magpul polymer stock, front handguard, and gas tube cover
- Side rail mount, for using optics without the Zenitco furniture
- .30 cal pull-through cleaning cord
- Lee Pacesetter 7.62x39 reloading die set
- 100 PPU 123 grain FMJ bullet heads (.310)
- 100 PPU 7.62x39 brass (unfired)
