Boiling water followed by bore cleaner (boil out yer hypes )

As above. 2 kettles full of boiling water followed by a bore cleaner to get rid of any carbon deposits. Dry patches, then finally an oiled patch prior to storage.
I have a cheap funnel which fits perfectly into the bolt opening/breech of my no4 and mosin. Only tricky bit is you ideally need 3 hands :)

Similar to above i use a military metal funnel that fits most breechloading rifles. I flush the bore with 2 pints of hot soapy water then a bronze brush soaked in youngs 303 followed by patches until clean and finish with a oiled patch
