Looks like Scotarms auction house has called it a day.

I know that a lot of what they sold was the sweepings of long dead RFD’s workshops but I’m sad.

I used to take a day off work, make a few sarnies and spend a day away from the wife and kids looking at and handling guns. Picked up many genuine bargains.

I suspect that a lot of what they sold will now be chopped or handed over to the Police for destruction.

Anyhoo…one less.

Intriguingly they’d just (in the last few weeks) redesigned their website. I know that the guy who ran it had been ill but very sudden none the less.

Sad to hear but the auctioneer was getting on in years!

Spoke to my RFD friend and he told me that the owner was in hospital and that was the reason.
