6mm Musgrave

#1 Post by jjvc »

Got some schnaps of Droomie's latest bit of kit while we were at the range yesterday, and as he's still incommunicado nettie wise i thought i would bung it up here for perusal.

There were plenty of "phwooaaaars" coming from his firing point so i think he was well impressed with this necked down .303 "wildcat".

Looks very nice if you are into sporterised Enfields. :good:

Nice photos. :good:

Did you take any photos of the ammunition, by chance?

Afraid not gents, i was feeling a little "indisposed" on Saturday and only grabbed these shots at the end of the day when the light was failing.
I'll take some ammo foties later this week unless Droomie gets his technical problems sorted before then.

And have you told him that steam won't power his PC.....?
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Sigh....I'm thinking I'll have to give in to call of a 303/25. :-P

A sporterised No4 might do the trick! ;)
