Well, Moose don't like the taste of Badger so not to worry :)

Once in the NRA you can join the NRASC (NRA Shooting Club)Membership is free of charge, you then need your SCC which can be done through the NRASC and you can shoot to your hearts content as they have regular meetings. Also F-B'ers head to Bisley all the time so it should be easy enough to tag along for a morning/afternoons session.

Getting an FAC should not be to much of an issue once you have been in a club for a while and the Police seem to have no issues with Scandinavians holding FAC's, well certainly not in our part of the UK, we are just to the East of Milton Keynes.

Just one thing... 60 miles to Bisley can mean anything up to three hours each way unless you leave early or are very lucky....

And then she pulls out that Laser stick that melts in the rain!

Thanks for the info... Three hours each way would certainly be a bit of a chore! Do I not have to be a full member to join NRASC? I will be a probationary member for at least three months as I understand it?

We leave at around 05:45 to get to Bisley for 07:30, way to early but leaving later adds a lot of time to the journey (M1, M25 etc) Yes you need to be a member of the NRA to join the NRASC. I think, in theory you can join the NRA and then the NRASC immediately.

Get your NRA memebrship sorted and shout and I am sure we can meet up for a day's plinking, I have an AccInt and a bucket load of milsurp to get through this years and it works OK to 1000 yards.
