Remmington 700 .308 Left Handed
Looking for a project gun so condition not too important as long as the action is sound.
Re: Remmington 700 .308 Left Handed
I know of a left handed .308 for sale right now but I am not sure it is a true project rifle. Do you have a budget figure in mind?

Thanks for looking Alan, I noticed it yesterday on my search and contacted the seller about it, apparently it'd sold within hours of being listed and he didn't know how to mark it as sold

What about an RWS Titan 3? http://www.titan6.com/english/technischedaten.html
It's a switch barrel design and the 22-250/6mmBR bolt will be compatible with 45 ACP and you can get LH models.
Possibly a bit more expensive but might be worth considering? Do the conversion right and you could have two rifles for the price of one!

Another one to consider;

I guess I'd only considered the 700 as I've seen loads of aftermarket goodness for it and most builders talk about customising them being their bread and butter. Do like the idea of the switch barrel design of the RWS though. Time for (yet) another chat with the rifle builder me thinks!

The titan has a detachable mag so you might be able to modify them to feed 45 ACP ammunition or to accept 1911 magazines in the form of an adapter - anything is possible!
