For Sale Accuracy International AE 7,62x51

#1 Post by ovenpaa »

Green stock sides with adjustable cheek piece. It is currently fitted with an AI one piece mount and KAPS SA 10X tactical 'scope and is threaded for a muzzle brake. It has been used so has a few scuffs and scrapes. It is regularly used to 1000 and 1200 yards and shoots very well regardless of what it is fed. Last time out it was comfortably in the 4 and 5 ring with the moderator fitted at 1200 yards.

GBP1500 for the rifle with a muzzle brake with accupod and adjustable target type cheek piece but excluding the bipod, 'scope, rings or moderator.

I will take some more pictures and get them posted in the next day or two.

Heh! This is the green AI/AE - the second one my son shoots. My black one, well the words cold, dead and hands spring to mind..

This has come two months too late otherwise I'd have had it by now!

Dont suppose you're selling the scope separately?

The 'scope and one piece can go separately but only after the rifle has been sold. It is the KAPS Tactical with BDC drum and correct one piece AI rail so rather nice.

Sounds good! Would you be so kind as to PM me a price for the scope and mount? Might as well see if it's in my price range and then get my hopes up that someone will want just the rifle!

What is the BDC drum calibrated for? .308 I assume!?

Yes it is calibrated for 7,62x51 out to 600m then has stadia lines on the reticle to get you out to 1000m from memory.

Price wise no idea, I will have a think about it.

EDIT - Stadia for 700, 800, 900 & 1000 and it is cm klicks/100m so ten klicks to one Mil or .344MOA/click

EDIT again, BDC is for 167g bullets.

Sounds exactly like what I'm after! I was advised on another forum to get a Leupold Mk4 that is BDC'd for .308 and works well with 168gn bullets but am not sure about the 1MOA adjustments..

I'd like to call dibs, depending on price (as obviously if the rifle buyer doesn't want it!)

This a month ago would have been enough to reconsider going for .223 and getting a variation!

Good luck with the sale!
