Is the plan to buy powder once there and load locally or take loaded ammunition plus your own powder and primers? I only ever take the ferry when transporting rifles and ammunition abroad and can happily carry 1000+ rounds without problems.

The logistics of shipping 20 shooters worth of loaded rounds to the states is a non starter.

This has been explored and even with a Team member who runs a shipping company, its not going to be possible - another reason being that "we" do not know what loads will work out there yet.

The plan will be (in my mind), arrive a week early, spend that week aclimatizing and developing load and learning the range.

Mirage and winds will be totally dferent to anything ive experienced in the UK and having seen some photographs of the wind flags at Ratton showing jaw dropping variations, I expect similar variations is V bull hits....

That will be done out there, sourcing powder, primers and bullets will be far easier to have it purchased and delivered to a holding dealer than anything else.

Similarly, buying a batch of presses will be easier than the cost of shipping heavy equipment across the pond...

It will be an experience, thats for certain...

Indeed, it will be closer to 40 - "herding cats" springs to mind....
Still, looking forward to the advance recon' mission.

Cheers.
