Hi from North Beds

#1 Post by j0e_bl0ggs »

Hi all,
Have lurked here occasionally, thought I might join.
Have been shooting for 40+years (wow old fart eh?)
Do not mess around with competition shooting any more, got the t-shirt!
Hunting is my 'bag'.
Favourite rifle is the 17Rem and the one I enjoy reloading for the most!
Like to make my own moderators, do all my own Rifle machining blacking etc.
Only thing I do not like to mess with is wood stocks...cannot weld it when I screw up...
(Have to inlet my rem 700 for Badger type bottom metal and not too confident yet!)

Good Morning and welcome to the forum.

Good to hear that we have not scared you away

Beds, where we live. Not a bad county all things considered.

Well we are in Mid Beds so frighteningly close to Bedford which is a bit of a no go zone in my eyes. I have a choice of straight on for the fields or turn left for Bedford, I know which direction I prefer...
