Zombie shooting in Reading!!

If we entered a time of Civil Unrest/Armageddon/Zombie Attacking, what would we do?

Zombie shooting in Reading!!

All right all?

Just seen on the news just a min ago that you can now go around a empty shopping centre in Reading shooting zombies! I've heard it all now!

It's full of actors romming around and you hunt them down dressed in black swat police uniforms! Very Resident Evil!! the zombies look the part!

I think it around £100 for the experience!

My friend did it the other day, and apparently the zombie actors don't hold back... he came back literally covered in bruises and beaten to eff! :p

Looks fun!

Ha. Really?

How's that work, then?

Do the zobies wear an electronic-target board, that beeps when you "shoot" them with a light gun? Does the SWAT has Nurf guns or something?

Or is it old-school, playground rules? [makes a gun with thumb and fore-finger] "Bang! I got you!", "No you didnt", "Yes I did", "nuh ah. I gots me a force field", "well I've got force field breakin' bullets" etc.

A force field breaking 7,62x51 should put most Zombies on the ass. I assume rocking up with your own rifle is frowned upon...

Hahaha! Very funny you lot!

I really don't know what they shoot or what you got to do! Well except for shooting zombies!
Don't know about a scoring system it just looked like they were going around at random but I could be very wrong.
It didn't look like they were using they're fingers to shoot David which was a shame coz I could do a great MG noise at school!
If you liked playing Resident Evil all those years ago I think you would have fun but for me I would spend me £100 on 50 rounds followed by a pint and a pie!

Back in my airsofting days there we occasional 'zombie' games and you could basically only shoot at them in semi-auto only, a body shot turned them away and a head shot put them down (normally for a designated time as there weren't many voluteers to be the zombies!)

None of the pictures show the 'zombies' wearing face protection but i assume they're just publicity shots. I'd also presume you're only given realistic amounts of ammunition to prevent 'spraying and praying' and excessive amounts of hits on the zombies. I used to use a FN P90 which had 300rd magazines and could be fired continously until the magazine was empty (most airsoft guns have clockwork magazines that you have to wind after 20-30 shots), which only took 20-25 seconds  I can't imagine they'll let you unload on the 'zombies' like that O:-)

Reading on a Saturday night can be quite rough, no need to pay for some actors to belt the stuffing out of you when that service will be rendered for free on Friar St in the early hours. Very occasionally people get shot, although not normally fat middle aged pink blokes like me.
Careful now/that sort of thing

You are so very true mate!

I don't even venture down Friar St anymore just to many pubs n clubs so when it's kicking out time it's not the place to be! It does turn into the living dead after hours!!

Bedford High Street is the same.

As a comparison I was sitting outside a bar in mid Jutland with the Brother in Law end of last summer, Saturday night the local venue had a band on and they serve alcohol so it was interesting to see them come flooding out and rush for all of the local bars. Upon entering they were orderly, friendly well behaved and good fun to watch. The lot near me soon discovered I was a Brit and we did chat for a bit and they were all absolutely spot on.

I would probably have been either fronted up or stabbed if it had been Bedford.
