Re: What was your Phoenix bargain?
I got a Lee powder measure, already mounted to a piece of wood, for £10. And another kilo of TR140 from Brian Fox. I had the money to buy more but nothing jumped out at me!
The .223 that I was going to get from Ovenpaa would've been a bargain but it had to be postponed.
Lean from Bold Action had a very good price on tracer - a day trip to Holland may have to happen!

Picked up a gun bag for Taurus from Dutch chap, mate picked up a scope from the Nara shop, average price but when run through till came out much cheaper, reckon there's a misprinted there, but fair play they gave it to him at the lower price!
I was mainly looking for ammo stock up, ended up at allwood, stocked up there at sensible prices.

No.4 Enfield foreend and top handguards from Terry Abrams, for £35. He was going to throw a buttstock in as well but I had to turn him down!
Re: What was your Phoenix bargain?
Primers from Brian Fox and a lovely shotgun from Ovenpaa.
I fired the gun on Short Siberia and fell in love with it. I was going to butcher it for classic Target Shotgun but it is too nice for that.
Best moment of the week-end? Meeting Chrystel and Ovenpaa who, sadly couldn't stay for a noggin. Next time I hope.

It was good to meet up albeit briefly and I am pleased to hear the S/S is going to be cherished. I always found it very easy to shoot and it seemed to hit what it was pointed at as well.John25 wrote:Primers from Brian Fox and a lovely shotgun from Ovenpaa.

We will make sure we have a bit more time to spare next time we come down.

Mosin Nagant 91/30 (ex Dragoon) of which i'm still reading about on the 7.62 x 54 net.....£200...which isnt too bad....i looked at a few others there which didn't have as many matching numbers and wanted more brass for them....and yes...there was quite a few overpriced guns pretending to be something they ain't!!
