A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools!!

Re: Apache me thinks...
They look too skinny and frail to be a serious purveyor of hot lead and hellfire missiles, Just like the Huey Cobras, they looked tiny!
Nice photo!
Nice photo!
It's not the pace of life that concerns me, it's the sudden stop at the end!

I have no real idea where it was taken but he is well wrapped up so Afghanistan is my guess.

Re: Apache me thinks...
After careful scrutiny, probably a WAH-64D Apache Longbow, fitted for 2 x 16 x 2.75" rockets, 8 x Hellfire ATGW and with a 25mm chain gun.
A very serious piece of military hardware. Pound for pound (weight, not cost) probably the most versatile weapon system on the planet.

Re: Apache me thinks...
Christels brother has introduced us to some highly interesting 'things' and I have always said the next one needs to be an Apache but somehow I doubt he will be able to manage that.

Up close, they are dark brown and mean looking.
Sitting in one of the seats gave me a feeling of awe.
Impressive!
