S Class guns - photo thread

#1 Post by M99 »

This is going to be my S Class gun.

PH 1100 deluxe in .308, Nikon 4-14x40 scope. It will sport a Harris Bipod, but is today sporting a sling as I have been out stalking Bambi.(yes I know the lawn needs mowing, but the Gardener is due Tuesday!!)

Far left (Just the wing) is a Gyr/peregrine, then a Female Peregrine (at rear) front row - male Harris Hawk, then female Harris hawk, the one on the floor is a Steppe Eagle. There are more to the left out of shot too.

I had it out at 1000 yards yesterday with the new 'modified' Harris bipod which looks like it will need a bit more development yet.

My first sporting rifle was a PH M81 Classic. in 308Win a nice looking rifle. But on close inspection it was a little crudely made. Had it for a number of years before it gave way to a SAKO 75 in 270Win, that was a classy bit of kit.
