The Flag flown on the Jack staff at the bow of every US warship is Currently the Navy Dadsen flag.
After September 11 2001 the US Navy switched to the Gadsen.
Prior to September 11 it was just the Blue field of stars from the US flag.
The Stars and Stripes are flown from the Topmost while underway and on the Stern post inport.

The Gadsen was the very first jack flown by the Continential Navy way back when our countries were having harsh words with each other.

That's the White Ensign, flown from the ensign staff at the stern, rather than the Union Flag (or Jack), flown from the jack staff at the bow.
