I'm with ovenpaa on this one... I like it simple or with a "practical" element (e.g., unknown distance and target, steel plates, against the clock with magazine changes, etc.) and classic military rifle.
Taking 10 minutes to take a shot dressed in S&M would bore the c**p out of me! In my opinion, it would appear that many shooting disciplines have morphed into variations of TR-type precision shooting obsessing over a tiny V-Bull. There's no fun in that for me as shooting is supposed to be fun (and safe).

Fullbore TR: get back up to an average of 48.x (hell, the days when I considered a 48 as a poor shoot are long gone!)
Service Rifle: shoot an HPS with my No.4 in "as issued" configuration off the shoulder.
Nice and easy for the moment, bearing in mind I don't have the time to shoot to a competitive standard.

After having what I consider my best years shooting for a decade ( shooting for England in the National Match, the Mackinnon and the European Long Range as well as a GB Tour to South Africa, thank-you Iain and coming top 50 in the Grand Agg), making it into the 2015 Palma Team for GB is my aspiration and my goal. Next year is going to be very focused on long range TR. Any thing else will be a distraction.

Winning a Level 3 PSG match in my division.
Winning my strawbaler clay clubs Boxing Day trophy - i have won 2 years, but that was before there was a trophy :roll: and Mutley likes his medals! clapclap :lol:

I have kept my aspirations simple. My two full-bore slots are a .303 and a 308 on my newly minted FAC.
Aspirations with the 303 are to shoot accurately in the standing, kneeling, sitting and prone, with iron sights and in the spirit of these historic rifles - so no bondage gear, dray horse blinkers or heavy gloves.
Aspirations with the 308 are to shoot better than my 12 year old son, at 300 and 600 yards, and to keep up his interest in the sport!
