Well what a fantastic day!

E-mail landed at about 1130hrs to say my new toy had arrived, by just after midday I was on the M6 heading to some far flung corner of Wengland. Landing at the "shooting Shed" just after 1400hrs (For some reason I did not manage to leave until after 1930hrs!)

Very impressed with the Fortmeier - we took it to bits to see how it functioned and how we could change it!! (Watch this space)

I've just dropped a scope on to it - they are renowned for eating scopes - so this might be a case of lets see what can stand the recoil!

Very tired and off to bed now.

But a huge thanks to both Ovenpaa and Christel for a great afternoon talking guns and generally putting the world to rights (Even if their dog is fat!!)

Poor photo again as used my phone - better ones tomorrow. It is also due to be painted tomorrow (well first coat)



Oh and Tim - Ovenpaa exaggerates, I am only 6ft 6" (2m for Dromia)

The rifle is so well thought out, the more we looked the more we marvelled. It comes with on 5,0mm T bar hex key and that is just about the only tool you will ever need to move/remove and adjust with. Swapping out the bolt face and barrel to something else is probably under two minutes work and the trigger pull is impressive.

I am tempted to keep one, purely for development purposes as there are a few things I want to try...

It is neither!

Look up my thread on my painted AR15 to see how/what.

The barrel, break, scope, cheek piece and forend all got a Mud Brow coating first. Then there is a drab olive layer over it with my preferred camo! This was after much debate and several painted scaffolding poles!

Mike, gosh it certainly looks the part however that is a very toned down .50BMG, I like it however I thought we would see a rainbow tongueout
