+1,Dougan wrote:The boot on my old Mondeo is huge, so I leave my emergency kit in the car all year round - A spare set of clothes, enough water for me and the car (including screenwash etc.), first aid, foil blankets and compact sleeping bag, torches, tools (including plastic and duct tape for window repairs), compact shovel, wet-wipes and kitchen roll, and an old waterproof jacket...my walking boots always stay in the car too as I don't drive wearing them...
...so when it snows...just an extra warm coat and hat on the back seat...

Good drills, I keep an ETH in the boot, but fortunately to date, have never needed to use it. A couple of MREs live in my vehicle.Watcher wrote:http://www.baysavers.com/node/758
I keep a folding entrenching tool under the seat of my car (less than £20 round these parts). If you buy one make sure its a proper military one with a bolt fixing rather than a rivet. As its only small it lives under the seat all the time.
Other wise all the stuff that everyone else has but with one addition - a flourescent piece of cloth for attracting attention.
