Blood splatter seems OK in Walking Dead - no secondary infection..yes I know it's the tele...Anyway you would want to be far enough back to avoid that if you could.

You have a valid point though, shotgun ammo is hefty at the best of times and in a prolonged shootout (slaughter) you would feel it afterwards...unless you were well padded.

.22HP magnum for lightness and quantity?

The only issue i'd have with .22 magnum is the artillery like trajectory and its rarity these days. Like i said .22lr for me! 100-150m range, semi-auto's available for close range rapid fire, carrying 2000rds+ wouldn't be that onerous and its the most common rifle calibre in the country, yeehaw!

There is something totally weird and unreal about this film. Zombies do not run...end of.

I guess it is called artistic freedom in regards to Max Brook's book... :roll:
I did read he basically said yeah well do whatever...

...until I have seen it I will think of this as yet another Hollywood disaster movie with Brad Pitt in the lead...

I've seen a video of that tank round being used in anger, on a camera crew! You see the tank fire hundreds of massive shot incoming before the camera cuts out... it was in Israel i think
