Shooting them is fine - but then comes the cleaning....
Walther managed to find the two smallest springs in existence, then fitted them in such a way that they will ping off if you ever strip your gun for cleaning. A quick-release 4x scope helps to find them again...
From what I've read those springs aren't really necessary - but I haven't tested that theory myself!
Whenever I clean mine I tape the springs in place, which does the job for me! I'm going after rabbits with it on tomorrow, after I give it a clean I'll leave those springs out and let you how it goes the next time.

You sound like me! Yes, they can be frustrating but not overly so. I mainly like them because -
1) They're a bullpup, which reminds me of my Steyr I had in the RAAF
2) Everyone else "knows" that they are crap! :lol:
If something is going to get me interested in a rifle it's the general opinion that it's no good. I find get pleasure in going :55: to that sort "known" fact!
