I didn't specify but it does look a lot like an MP40. Either way I think he has made quite nice job of it!kennyc wrote:PPSh ? or one of the Warsaw Pact homegrown variations?ovenpaa wrote:It is certainly similar to an MP40 but with some subtle differences.
Hmm...

Re: Weird No4
That barrel looks shy of 16" in the states, especially with that folding stock we would be talking a felony at a Federal level, interesting you can go shy of 16" on a rifle though in the states that would be a questionable acquisition and modification from a legal standpoint. Though if I want to throw an AK folder on the front seat when I drive to work, well in this state that is not a problem.
Now if that No 4 were at least 16" in barrel length, where I can I get one? That has to pack one heck of a recoil'

It's a 45 ACP conversion. I think it would handle quite nicely, not to mention getting you plenty of attention (good and bad  ) at the range! Maybe one day...Barrakan wrote:Hi SG razz If that handles like a dream I'm all for it, if not.......well it takes ugly to a new level.

Wonder if either of the short guns pictured in this thread ARE actually IN the USA?etprescottuk wrote:That barrel looks shy of 16" in the states, especially with that folding stock we would be talking a felony at a Federal level, interesting you can go shy of 16" on a rifle though in the states that would be a questionable acquisition and modification from a legal standpoint. If so, I would bet good money that they ARE legal and are on a Class III licence.
