My Forster neck sizers never need lubing the cases just slip in and out.

Try some lube and see if that makes difference, might just need breaking in but unlikely with Forster.

Have you used the die before and if not have you given it a good clean.

It's had a few hundred cases through it & has always been fine until recently.

I'll give it a good clean & try it again.

Necks are the thinnest section of the case and pretty much the most critical in concentricity and neck tension terms...treat them kindly.......lube the inside with graphite if using an expander ball in your die and always use ISW on the outside...lube cannot hurt anything.

The only exception might be the Lee Collet die.

... and brake pads.

ISW=Imperial sizing wax.

I use ISW sparingly on all my cases whether neck-sizing or full-length sizing. You don't need much and it's good stuff. I tried the Lee case lubricant and it seemed to work but I prefer ISW.
I also give my dies a clean out with a cotton bud every now and again to remove any build-up of wax and other debris. Poking around in there with the cotton bud also lets you see if everything is located where it should be.

I neck size for TR and do the same as Mezzer. A light smear of wax on a q-tip around the inside and outside of the case neck (one dab in the wax does 10 or more cases.) Neck size and then clean off the inside with a q-tip and the outside with kitchen roll. They size much more easily in my Lee hand press than dry cases and I don't think that I get as much stretch in the cases (but don't have the hard data to prove it.)
