The unrestricted tube, plus extension tubes USED to retail at about £30 from most Edgar dealers.
May be worth asking around.

Failing that, try to get your S.2 main tube converted by an RFD (the easiest/cheapest option) first before you & the cat rancher start ordering from the land of the big PX.

They can get hold of the newer tubes apparently, but the older ones are threaded differently, or so I've been told.
Half-tempted to shell out for one just to try.
I asked about converting the current tube but the RFD was worried about removing the crimp, also they want £60 for the pleasure! It may fail after that too, only being aluminium.
I even called Hatsan in Turkey, the guy suggested I call Edgars. Arghhh

Isn't our very own Chuck as resident of such warm climes?

I'd also see who else in the EU is a Hatstand stockist...and try them. All legal and above board to do...as any EC sourced parts are OK to import.
Sounds like the Macc. chaps are trying to swing folk toward buying a newer S.1 gun instead = more margins than a £15 tube = only in it for the margins!

I'm no metallurgist and know aluminium is soft but can you gently heat the crimp and tap a drift through to virtually remove it or does aluminium melt rather than heat up like steel would?
