Not quite. If your shotgun is Section 1, your VFP is authority to purchase shotshells, as it is a permit to possess a firearm suitable for firing them. Also, to get a VFP, you must produce your EFP or a copy of it. See http://www.nra.org.uk/common/files/rang ... pNotes.pdf
