Ah yes, my parents are the secretaries of the high peak.. It's great, just the walkers always put a stop to my shooting

I have climbed quite a few times in the Manifold Valley area, always nice especially during the colder months when hunting for new routes.

There are some amazing places, i especially like thors cave and ecton hill. But they're both quite tricky if the ground is muddy.

Coffee and cake is always good.

I always wanted to climb the roof of Thor's Cave however it was never dry enough whenever we visited... Have you read 'Black Spider' by SPB Mais, it is a 'proper' war time spy thriller and takes place around your area extending up to Lathkill, one of my all time favourite reads.
