Made enquiries, seems that the UK version does NOT have the following.

FLASH HIDER
NEW REAR PEEP AND FRONT SIGHT
NEW STOCK DESIGN AND FOREND

The UK does have the normal stock, mid barrel rear sight normal front sight, and a normal picatinny rail in the box is screwcut for Moderator. AND is engraved 50th Anniversary on bolt/receiver.

Seems you will be paying more just for the Engraving wtfwtf

Sportsman gun centre is showing a picture of the US version but have no stock.

Not a surprise, really...
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!

If that is true then there is no point buying that model.

If you want to check it out go to Guntrader, search rifle,semi,22lr,Make RUGER, second page, look for the WILTSHIRE dealer priced £365.

Or get in touch with Viking Arms.,you will probably be able to get a "grey" if you try hard enough.

Just saw a ruger youtube video about this gun. Looks nice. They did mention that all 10/22's manufactured in 2014 will be inscribed with 50th anniversary on bolt and barrel.

The USA version looks nice...don`t forget the UK version is just a S/S with the engraving ONLY.
