hi,,forgive me for asking what may be a silly question,but what is the law regarding muzzle breaks,are they regarded the same as mods,or is there no law

Which one will make .22 louder? I need a brake that will trigger my shot timer every time.

The type A that I have on my Buckmark carbine seems to do a good job of raising the perceived noise for the firer.
As such, the brakes don't make the gun-shot louder per se, they just change the direction of the vented gasses from the muzzle.

Have you tested any at the range to see if they make the ammo more accurate ?

The bloke that makes them has done extensive testing.
They make
the gun more accurate, as they change the harmonics of the barrel
Certainly seemed to be the case with my Buckmark
