Sorry, but there is no way that paying over three times what I paid for my K31 can be justified by such a comment unless you've got money to throw away.

£850 is an outrageous price to ask for a K31, when normally they fetch somewhere in the range £250-450 here in the UK.

What is even more ridiculous is £3950 for a Lee Speed!

Take a look at the k31 he has for sale then compare yours, there must be some reason it's highly priced....if it dont sell then I'm sure he's going to reduce it...

I can only think of one real reason the K31s he has for sale are over-priced, but politeness prevents me from stating why. It's interesting to note however that a previous K31 sold went for £550. I suspect among other things he's chancing his arm that some poor unsuspecting fool will pay what he's asking, but in reality his K31s are no better than those offered anywhere else.

Look at the Lee Speed he has listed - it's quite nice, but they normally go for a fraction of the price he's asking, and even cased it's not worth 50% of what he asks.

That's pretty much what I thought, I'm guessing he must be open to offers!

Some lovely Springfield's on his site, they seem about the going rate, so is there a reason for the high K31 price, rare examples etc,?? not that familer with the type, history and variants, though they are sweet to shoot, love the way the spent case goes spinning backward over your head, seriously fast action!!

I can see no reason. Good examples yes, but nothing special and nothing which warrants such a massive price.

I hope you did not spend as much as the ones he has for sale at present.... how much :o

I picked mine up a couple of years ago and don't recall exactly what I paid. It was over the going rate but then it's a nice example and I'm very pleased with it.
Paying the advertised price is a personal choice and it wouldn't be the first time I've paid over the odds. Saying that, it's not the first time I've walked away from a potential purchase either.
Your money - your choice! Simple really.
