I sourced a titanium pin for my CMMG from the states and then carried the original pin and spring as spare.
10K rounds through my CMMG and the original pin hadn't broke, not wanting to wait for it to happen I got the Ti upgrade.

What ammo are you using? I've only ever shot CCI Standard through my rifles.

Also saw firing pins at East Midlands regional :)

Believe it or not, when the pin broke I had just put CCI Standed through it, found out today that we have got a member in our club that's a gunsmith, and he is going to make me 2 firing pins so I will have one as a spare.
