Also get ten people in on your design and Al will run it.

I have over 10 NOE moulds and and have two more on their way. They are excellent quality and easy to use. They are also very durable.
I would recommend them highly.

Cheapest I can see on their site is $79, add shipping say $15, plus VAT on that total when it gets here and the £10 that the Post Office charges for collecting the VAT. Coming close to £90 per pop. Considerably more expensive than I can buy Lyman for.

I've only bought a couple of moulds and got them easily but I can imagine some of the more obscure sizes might not be readily available here in Lyman or Lee.

As I said I only have a couple and they work fine for me.

If I was into serious bench rest shooting or casting bullets for a business then perhaps these moulds would be worth investigation but as a plinker I'm really not into the numbers game too much. All power to those who go down this route as it would not do for all of us to be the same, but for the half dozen or so calibres that I shoot, I can get adequate satisfaction from off the shelf moulds over here.

I wouldn't include Lee moulds in this discussion as that is comparing apples and oranges, Lee's quality control is non existent so buying one of their moulds is a pig in a poke.

The main problem with the Lyman moulds is that they are now undersized as their cherries are well worn, also a lot of their more recent moulds have had alignment problems. Lyman used to be the cast bullet company leading the way and making good products however since the accountants took over their cast inventory has become a tragedy and a pale shadow of its former self, I suspect that there isn't enough turn over in cast products for them to maintain investment. Hence the increasingly undersized moulds from Lyman.

I have some older moulds by Lyman and Ideal that I cherish.

Lyman's selection of HP moulds is severely limited and restricted to single cavity moulds whereas the NOE system can HP up to a five cavity mould.

Regarding cost you can get four two cavity moulds in the box for the $15 shipping, Customs and vat can be divided by three as 1 in 3 has been my customs capture rate for stuff from the US over the past two years. This works out at £60 for a two cavity NOE mould as opposed to £74.80 plus postage for a Lyman DC from Hannams. Even on your calculations I'd still sooner pay the £10 extra for an NOE as they are that much better and then some.

I also forgot to mention another aspect of NOE is that they offer most of their moulds either PB or GC also you can chose to mix PB and GC cavities in the same mould.

Still as you say there is no need to check them out if you have all the moulds you need.

However anyone looking for a mould should consider NOE as their choice and options is far superior to Lyman.

I'm excited I have been tracking my moulds and custom expanders + case length buttons I ordered them a week ago they are in the UK I expect delivery Monday or Tuesday. I'm hoping Monday if they do arrive Monday I will be shooting the cast boolits Wednesday night. Excellent service and very reasonably priced. I have my eye on at least three more moulds and other bits and bobs. I'm into a group buy at the moment once that comes of the mill Il buy the other stuff and get it shipped together.
Pity we can not get the same quality and service in the UK.

I gave up on Lyman moulds years ago after they went down the pan. Lee moulds are . I gave up on cast boolit shooting because of the none availability of quality moulds of the right size etc to cope with my milsurp rifles needs.

NOE has rekindled my interest. I just need to open up my cabinets and blow the cobwebs off the old girls and drag them into the light. Hmmm this could be interesting.
