I think it was an old textiles factory, out near a Morrison's towards the matlock side of chesterfield

Ah, probably one of the old Robinson's plants then, if it is the place I am thinking of it was used for making field dressings amongst other things.

That sounds about right, we were in the cotton processing room I think
