If you are having to pre priming cases they are not running fine. A 1000 is fine for pistol rounds and not hard for a beginner with a few tips. That said I run a loadmaster for 9mm & 44 with no problems.

I don't have to used primed cases, I simply prefer to.

I use an RCBS universal hand primer for all my priming and find it better than the system on the Load Master.

Amen to that jeff, the priming system on the loadmaster sucks the sweat off dead man's balls....

Bad as in an arrow through the neck,then discovering an invoice for one arrow attached to it....
