Evening Dromia, a question if I may...
I received a PM today from SwedeNelson / NOE about the 550 pritchet mould (I didn't get a PM for the 566, is it too late to get the discount for that one as well? I can PM SwedeNelson on that...). However my main question, being new to casting, is do I need to buy the accessories for both types of mould or do I just need one set which will work for both moulds?
From the NOE site, that's this lot:
Drill for Probe, Lyman / RCBS style Top Punch, Mold Wrench and Sprueplate Lube (lube - I get that!), Saeco style Top Punch
I'm guessing I'll order both the plug moulds as well?
Thank you kindly...
Mat

If you didn't get a pm with the discount code for the .566" the pm or email Al and he will sort you out as you are on the list.
The 566 top punch will do for both just specify lubsizer type, however H&I dies for these moulds are not common and the few I have tried don't work well due to the very thin wall thickness also only certain sizers will handle the large diameter ejection pin, I would not be sizing these bullets as they are designed to be used as cast so a top punch shouldn't be necessary. If you have a probe thermometer then drill for probe is a handy addition to any mould unless you wish to do it your self. One little bottle of sprue plate lube will last for many, many moulds, less is more in this case worth getting. Mould wrench is allen keys (2) for the mould screws, if you don't have allen keys then one pair will do for all NOE moulds.
The plug moulds should be slightly dimensionally different, does this matter? I'm getting both just in case.
With two discount moulds you will need to order both separately, email AL and put it on your order that you would like to have them sent together and he will refund you the postage difference.
