Seconded, I had a few of these from Airsoft days and they just don't hold a zero and leave you wondering if it's the ammo, the rifle, the shooter or the sight.
Stocks, grips, lights, rail covers etc, sure, take a gamble, a lot of the Chinese stuff is really good.

What about but stocks, to me I couldn't tell a cheap one from a dear one unless the price was on them, im fancying a ubr for my AR.

Not cheaper than the PTS/airsoft version. And looks nothing like it. Or has the same functionality, but apart from that....
If its a .22 AR i'd say its worth a punt
N.B. The UBR is a heavy stock (which can be handy to balance out a nose-heavy gun) but just to be aware

.22 ar and well chosen Fagpul would be fine. fullbore and crappy fagpul would result in a breakage pretty quick

Wouldn't touch cheap nasty copy stuff even on a .22
It looks s***, it feels s***, it is s***. Just save a bit more, and buy the real version. It's not that expensive if you shop in the right places..or buy second hand.

I've never handled one of the PTS stocks so i really don't know. With the AFG's though i personally can't tell the difference, other than on the copy the nut hole hasn't warped from being tightened, but the real one has!!
£65-100 Vs £225 is quite a difference for the UBR! And thats IF you can get one at all!

The fit and finish on a real ubr is lovely. I've seen one airsoft one that was horrid but there are so many different ones.
If I was to get an Airsoft one I think I'd want to go get it from a shop, give it a good playing with first. Don't shell out £100 on one by post.

Ok, I accept its nothing like. Plus it needs an A1 or A2 buffer that aren't as easy to find as a carbine tube is. But they do have other good stuff there though. One thing Blackstuff, where did you get that FAB defense 30 round mag from? I can't seem to see any around at all.

You haven't looked very hard for a standard rifle buffer tube kit..
