Perfect out of the box. I was told to put a couple of boxes of the heaviest load through it to run it in.

I only shoot slug and its been generally flawless. Out of about 600 rds to date, only 3 FTE and all caused by me mag gripping ( cured by installing a VFG ) or mounting an optic ( Veprs really dont like anything mounted forward on the rail.

I replaced the factory skeleton stock with a Magpul AR type stock.

I have now put a micro burris red dot and its better than ever.

Got mine at 24" inc permanently attached brake. From Oleg at RusMilitary.

I believe at least one other RFD offers the same version.

You can also get them 27" unbraked and with screw in chokes.

Snayperskaya...how did you replace the stock ?

I think they will look better with a brake on them, especially the 27" ones.
Oleg has ran out of GK-01 Brakes `til end July, if lucky so I might have to wait till then and use the clamp on type.I would need the 27" for birdshot and full choke. 25-30yds with no choke would probably be too far for effect.
I didn't as I haven't got one........it's Breacher that has one :good:

Stock removal was easy enough.

I found the part needed via a Russian website.

Is the barrel fitted on RusMilitary's ones the minimum length required by law ? (sry I know nothing about UK shotgun laws).

Min barrel here is 24" on a semi auto. From factory its 27" but they do other versions for other markets as short as 15".

Oleg does the 24" inc brake as does C&G I believe. The brake is welded on to become part of the 24".

Thanks VM for the info . Sounds like that Olef fellow does the best possible given the UK law then .

I had a very enjoyable taster with a Spas 15 but when I look the picture you posted hunting some T-Rex with your Vepr, there is no comparaison ... I recently smashed my gun piggy bank with a sledge hammer Mojlnir size but still so irresistibly lust over them ...

Please ... Any volunteers to start a UK "3 guns" section in the Czech Rep so I can fully justify the acquisition of a similar shorty with a clear conscience ??
O:-)

Froggy is it true that in France you have have most things including center fire semi rifles but not pump action shotguns (but mag fed semis are ok)? I seem to recall someone saying that. Is it true?

I don't know about the new legislation but it used to be kinda similar to the UK, ie :
A pump action/semi auto with a shortish barrel and/or capacity of more than 2 rounds was deemed a restricted firearm available only to licenced shooters. Acquisition was possible but would be included in the quota of the only 7 centre fire allowed.
A long barrel with 2+1 rounds capacity was a "hunting" gun available to all hunting licence holders with no restriction for numbers owned.

Breacher..have you shot yours with birdshot yet, 5`s or 6`s size, I need to know if its any good for steel plates at 25-30yds before I commit to having one cut to 24" with a brake on.
