Cheers that would be good I'm thinking about getting one (unless he's gone out business or whatever )qws wrote:I have not had any luck reaching Mike.
I can do a review. When I next go to the range I will get some pictures etc and then post a review based on my own experience of having the Sig since the last Phoenix meeting.
It was partly technical issues with Midway, partly supply issues with Tangfolio, and finally when all was said more than his trouble at his age and wanting to retire a bit. Another gunsmith I know might try and do one in the future, but he's got other things to do and that's all I'm saying on the matter. Maybe contact suffolk rifle about their glock LBP?joe wrote:Cheers that would be good I'm thinking about getting one (unless he's gone out business or whatever )qws wrote:I have not had any luck reaching Mike.

I've still got 9mm on my ticket (the midway lbp hype that didn't go anywhere)

How did you justify to plod for wanting two long barrel pistols of the same caliber ??? I thought after dunblane they put a stop to thatqws wrote:I had heard that Mike was working on a contract abroad.
I have also been looking at the Glock from Suffolk arms as I have a second slote on my ticket. My only issue is that the Glock is not a factory specification Glock and cannot be called a Glock as they have not agreed. The "Glock" is all 3rd party manufactured parts.
So is it a Glock or not ??!!!
At least the Sig is all Sig and approved by Sig.
1911s don't need a license to be manufactured, Glocks do.safetyfirst wrote:Most 1911's ain't got nowt to do with colt but they're still 1911's. I'd not sweat it. Does it shoot well and are parts available are the criteria worth noting.
If it's completely glock compatible then it's a glock as far as I'm concerned.
