Ah, thanks. So the issues are more to do with the 'Russian refurb' than the capture! :lol: Will bear this in mind myself as a K98 is pretty near the top of my shopping list - albeit probably a little way off yet.

Most K98's are Russian captures.
Nothing wrong with Russian captures at all, I have 2 of em, one as a sniper.
The Norwegians took much better care of the K98's and deffo warrant the extra £££ IMO. The French also had k98's as well, they cut another slot in the stock and added a peice of metal for their slings. They also changed the bayonet lug to accept their blades.
