[quote="qws"]Question: Will a Boonie Packer Adaptor allow the use of S&W mags, fit in a Sig 552 Swat. I can get a Sig for £499 but want to over come feed problems. I know the Lantac is better but it is over twice the cost
Why not just save up and buy the Lantac when you can afford it?

Maybe he feels that the sig fits his needs for half the price? If the CMMG requires an adaptor to use certain mags to feed reliably, then the sig is in the same boats but for half the price.
I've heard fantastic things about both, it's just one is half the price of the other.
End of the day, the Lantac CMMG isn't the be all and end all of tactical .22 semi autos, even if it does have a reasonable following on forums. I'm still trying to make an informed decision about which to buy personally. It's made difficult by the fanboys on all sides if I am beings honest.

Have to agree with you on that one Hunter. I rather thought that I was being helpful by offering my thoughts on magazine conversion etc but hey .... now I find that I was just being a 'fanboy'. I'm so depressed that I may just have to go look for a high place to jump from

Thanks for all the comment. Just to let everyone know after nearly going blind watching every review on the 15-22, CMMG and Sig 522, I have placed an order for the Sig 522 SWAT. I just hope Neal from Suffolk Rifle can get one from the States in a reasonable amount of time. Went for the Sig as nearlly all reviews for all 3 are very close, but as I have the Sig P226, made sense to go for the Sig 522.
So now just need some patience ???!!!!

What part of 'fanboys on all sides' don't you two get?
I wasn't even aiming it at this particular thread which has some good info in it, but the dozens of others across this and various other forums where they just turn into a brand Bitchfest. It can be hard to seperate what is useful and what is just people bigging up something simply because they own it.
qws, let us know how you get on with it!

Hi BamBam, Tried so many places, many are listing but no stock and no date for any more. Will try a ring round tomorrow.
Also prices from £499 to £850 !!!!!!!!
So far every cheaper listing is out of stock. e-mailed as many firms as I could to get stock update. So far no replies with stock available. I wish companies would keep their sites upto date.

My mate got a mint 2nd hand Sig Swat for £450 back when £850 was the price, but they've gone done since then. You should be able to get one for around £600-
I know McAvoy's in Wigan had quite a few, but you'll need to ring them and check.
