Forum rules
Posting of negative comments in the Gunshop section could bring unwanted criticism on the forum, having said that it is important to let members know if dealings with a Gunshop were less than ideal for you. To that end we will allow what will be known as the 'Scotsgun Ruling'

The Scotsgun Ruling:

>Add Gun Shop here<

"As I've yet to have a 'positive' experience there, I'll refrain from commenting further."

Beyond that please take it up with the Gunshop, if you do resolve the issue in a agreeable manner let us know!

My Father and I have put thousands through their till over the 10 years or so. Always good service, excellent prices, friendly Staff, (free coffee as we are such regular visitors). By far our favourite gun shop. There are around 6 guns that I can think of in my safes that have come from McAvoys :D

McAvoy Guns

#16 Post by bewildered »

My FAC variation arrived on Thursday 24 March so I called McAvoy guns in Standish to see if they could help me get a new Tikka rifle. They tracked one down to the importers, a new model T3X, the only one in the country apparently. I paid a deposit, the rifle arrived with McAvoy yesterday, I paid the balance and I have just picked it up from the NRA at Bisley.
If you want to talk to people in a helpful, knowledgeable, efficient and friendly business I can thoroughly recommend McAvoy. They were great.
Paricular thanks to Janet and Natalie at McAvoy for sorting me out!!

We got a T3X in for a customer for export last week in .243, very nice. You shot it yet? Get some picks up.
