Can I come as a guest for the PSG and pay a fee on the day ?
It used to be the case than non-members could just come along if they knew a member and/or had an FAC but i'm not sure what the protocol is these days. Give the club a call and ask. Mention that you're a member of Tall Trees and are used to shooting practical style comps. They might want you to attend the club for gun handling 'training'. IIRC the guest fee is £10. The two brothers that regularly shoot at Tall Trees pistol comps (i think one of them is called Gareth...) KNow they guy that runs the PSG at Pittington (Derek).

Last Saturday of every month (except December which will be 19th). I'll not be at the next one though as i'm at a wedding the day before cheers

thats a bit daft. so black, olive or tan then? why no camo? (does kryptec typhon even count as camo? )
AFAIK it was internationally decided that IPSC should distance itself from its police/miltary roots in order to become recognised as a sport, rather than 'combat-training' (e.g. IDPA). In order to do that the competitors need to look like they're participating in sport, rather police/military training, hence the 'ban' on camo and other forms of dress that might be considered para-military.

When it came time to get pouches for my Vepr 12 I just took the mag to a shop selling rifle mag pouches and tried a few for fit.

Turned out that open topped ( with bungee ) M14 or G3 mag pouches had the right interior dimensions.

Take the magazine to a military surplus / airsoft retailer and try a few for size.

I am guessing the Vepr mags will be similar in size to the Bora so you might find 7.62 rifle pouches work. You can usually find them in plain black too.
