Punches are available from tool shops, I think the last ones I bought were from Cromwells.
At £47 plus postage I hope it makes loads?

Cromwells seem to do an 8mm punch and a 12mm punch.

Appreciate the input but this is looking like a bit of a goose chase.

Goose chase, why.

Should be easy enough to work out how many you will get from a sheet if that is important for you. You know the diameter of the wad and the dimensions of the felt, some simple arithmetic and you will know how many.

Quality felt is expensive, for wads you need the hard compressed felt if you don't want to use good stuff then toilet paper will serve as well cheap felt.

Don't know Cromwells current stock but I suspect that there are other tool suppliers that you could look at.

Thanks again Dromia.

200 wads has done me for my personal use for a couple of years and a year of training probationers. That box was maybe £10-12.

I don't mind spending £25 on a fair old load but £50 or £60 on this basis is disproportionate to my need.

Appreciate the sage input though.

The wads I have in hand are 0.47" and occasionally my trainees can't stuff them in the cylinders. I think I have to pass Greenshoots but thank you.

My MLAGB pals have feelers out. Otherwise I will have to go for thinner wads.

Which would explain why they haven't come back to me.

The wads I have are .45-.47.
I could end up with lots of wads I can't use! That's TF
