Update: An apology by email 10 minutes ago, the stock arrived this morning and do I still want to cancel, or would I like delivery tomorrow?
No prize for guessing which option I took........
My main gripe was being unable to check if they had it before I placed the order............apparently, everyone who could help was busy with customers, which is nice,
it's a gunshop, after all.............but the girl who answered the phone doesn't appear to have a PC linked to their system. She has to go for a walk to ask someone.
And surely, it's not rocket science to have a website stock control app that tells customers if an advertised item is in stock or on back order or whatever.

I went into Dorset branch on Saturday to buy what I expected to be another pair of hated but very comfy Le Chameau Chasseurs (worn out the ones that fell apart now) This would have been thick end of £300.
Because they had a wide range of stock I was able to try numerous brands on my awkwardly large feet and rugby calfs. Ended up spending £110 on a pair of ,Seelands instead. Went to till, on last day of specaoe discount £90.00!
No grumble here.

Ordered stuff from them this evening, so will see how that turns out. Used them once before and was very happy with the experience, hence the re order and prices are good for what I ordered!

Had an email lunchtime, (day after ordering) saying items despatched for next day delivery and a tracking number. Haven't checked the details to see if both things I ordered ar present, save that surprise for when it arrives!

Well one of the two items I ordered arrived, other is on back order, but they say it will be with me next week, the bullets that arrived was what I really needed, but a bit frustrating, also not really good business sense for them as they send next day delivery. The second item only cost £12, and so there 2nd postage will eat into there profits. Be really useful if the website indicated what was in stock. Conclusion, I would still use, because despite not having an item in stock they still provide a fairly good service and good prices. Just my thoughts.

Well, I ordered a gun case and free standing target holder, both in December, both arrived the the following day, well priced, very well packaged and correct, can't say fairer than that.
If I have one complaint about them its the fact that they are the Tesco's of the UK gun trade and make it very difficult for small traders to compete, but that's a very general grumble!
