i'm out of clicks up... and as i say, it was about a foot low at 25 yrds

yeah, looking at it, i might be able to shim it where the ring joins the mount.

but that would then mean its only sighted in for that specific distance, but I also dont want to spend £60 on a 30moa riser

My CZ HC-P has a decent ghost ring sight on it fitted as standard - and it's seriously accurate.

I've been shooting my Benelli M2 Practical for 3 ½ years with the Ghost Ring sights. Its worked well enough for me. I fitted Tritium Ghost Ring Inserts and Tarron Tactical lifter, enlarged safety and bolt handle. Its a great shotgun. I did try it with a red dot which was ok.

If you wish to shoot fast do not put a red dot sight on your shotgun as it will slow you down, and on a pump or semi-auto it will put you into open class alongside the magazine fed shotguns.

If you are only shooting slug at turning targets then a red dot sight may suit you.
