Re: CCI Blazer
My Voere certainly did not like them, kept jamming, changed to CCI Standard and had no issues whatsoever, in fact it shot flawlessly with the 15 mag.
Re: CCI Blazer
I usually shoot CCI Standard for solids and they go where they are pointed, I am also a big fan of the CCI HP Subs which are very accurate to the normal 60-70 yards. The CCI Blazer were a spur of the moment purchase and I grabbed 2000 which I have a feeling are going to last a long time, even in our house. Annoyingly the semi autos do not seem to like them at all and 25m groups are awful.

Re: CCI Blazer
Blazer performs well in my vintage Martini Enfield .22 conversion, I managed third place with it in my club 25m bench rest comp last year.
Like many rifles when it comes to ammunition, it's horses for courses.
As for comparing Blaser to Thunderbolt, I have found one major difference.
Unlike Thunderbolt, I have never had mis-fire problems with Blaser.

Re: CCI Blazer
Yes they are crap...but i still like them. I can usually get a 10-shot group of around 4" at 100yds...which is good for me..

Re: CCI Blazer
CCI standard is my preferred solid round and the CCI hp for hunting.
Blazer not all that accurate in my opinion.

Re: CCI Blazer
My K22 loves blazer, for the life of me I can't work out why. More recoil over CCI standard, but high 90s at 20 yards can't complain especially at the price.
However, you can hear and feel the inconsistency of the loads, so, I guess it depends on what you need it for!!!

Re: CCI Blazer
I used to use them. But they are waxy and dirty especially when mag dumping during mini-rifle comps so I've changed to standard and mini-mags. I had some Federal that I liked, they are copper plated and look and perform like mini-mags but I can't find any in the midlands, cheap too.
Re: CCI Blazer
The K22 and my 15-22 run quite well on Blazer, mostly alphas too.
Re: CCI Blazer
I may be very lucky but my 10/22 shoots blazers amazingly. Sub 1/4 inch groups at 25 yards all day. But then again, Since building my 10/22 it shoots anything well!

Re: CCI Blazer
We have a club of 150+ and I only know of one guy who swears by them, but then I've not heard any arguments that they are that bad either...
I have heard that CCI standard at 25m behaves like rws target, after a batch bought and distributed for testing the results were good and in my kidd it also shot well,(not so good at 50m so I shall be sticking with rws target...)..so we have 20k coming at £3.50 a box of 50 to the members....

When someone says "it's not about the money" you know what? it probably is all about money!
