I was only joking, if it shoots OK and doesn't lead or foul around it then I wouldn't worry about it.

You could try going at it with some Motty paste on a patch wrapped around a bronze bristel brush and see what happens, obviously this action will also lap the rifling so be circumspect.

Is it actually a problem when shooting, if so what is it?

Also what does it feel like when you push a tight patch over it.

Slugging the barrel with an oversize ball will also yield further information.

done it with grinding paste start off with course and finish with fine, but use a proper rod and handle your not scrubbing but following the groves

well took it to the club lastnight, did 18 shots with 16 in the black ,other 2 i pulled

so think ill leave it alone , :D thanks guys
