If you listen to the lyrics of songs he wrote and sang there was a troubled individual there, strangely he appeared to embrace charity work trying to help abused kids and a new marriage with a conversion to orthodox Christianity and his own children to tend to. The last song they did added words from in my time of dying by Led Zep. It kinda makes the whole thing ominous in hindsightChuck wrote:Official verdict: Suicide. WHY????

The rest of the grunge scene like Scott Weiland and Layne Staley were no surpise though in Staley's case it was more a surprise he lived that long. Only Singer left from the big beasts of that's Era Grunge is Eddie Vedder (some will include Billy Corgan, but I don't consider Smashing Pumpkins Grunge. Just Alternative).
