The Beryl sight line is inches above the bore, meaning that even a few minutes of angle of tilt will result in a miss. It has one of these apparently full bore cartridge magazines with a silly little insert to take the ,22 rounds. I'll bet that owners need a penis extension.
These are not military rifles, they are .22s, intended for target use. Why carry around all that surplus bulk and weight? it seems that appearance is more important than function and the rifle is really for posing with rather than using.
By contrast the Anshutz is a streamlined machine with every part optimized for the intended function, which is precision prone target shooting.
I don't really like either, being a traditionalist. My .22s are a Greener Miniature Club and a 1920s made BSA pump.
