Our PARA Armourer was flogging L1A1 Bayonets for £1 that's one pound. Sorry though cant find mine.
BTW That was over 50 years ago. Price has probably gone up a little.

Re: L1A1 bayonet wanted
If its nylon chap it woult only be designed for use with the old nylon BD belt for drill in Jumper order or wearing BDs/No2s. The original frog was part of one of the 58 patern ammo pouches. The lightest order of webbing (Skeleton, or then CEFO) would always have the ammo pouches or the yoke would not work (unless it was a local mod of course).dave_303 wrote:Not the bayonet itself, but I have the nylon bayonet frog for it
Shocking stuff, weighed a ton when wet, as it invariably was

Iconic shape, probably because it was printed or embroidered on just about anything to do with Warminster or Inf trg. Its one of those things I always wanted to own but have no need for whatsoeverDanTheMan wrote:Just a little, but only a couple of quid a year. Its basically the same blade and scabbard as the Mk9 No 4 Bayonet.
