EJ Churchill 20 bore BL Ejector (1930s), and a 1897 Greener (I think) 10 bore that looks a bit like Dromnias, think it 2 5/8 and has been nitroproofed. Also have a Webley and Scott bolt action 410 that's got an integral magazine. Must sort some photos out.

I have a Scottish gun. An Alexander Henry 12g Hammer Gun which I got for £60 and was told by one of the old guys in Dicksons of Edinburgh, now alas no more, to insure it for £1200, that was in 2002. It has the South St Andrews Street address on it which indicates it was built before 1895. I rarely shoot it as I'm now in a wheelchair. The gun is very plain with no engraving but is in marvelous condition. It has no serial number which really hacked off Police Scotland when they merged all the forces they found they had quite a few NVN guns. So in their infinite wisdom they have allocated mine a number.

Another one which I bought on a whim at auction but have nor fired yet is a 12g Side by Side Non Ejector Hammer Gun by G.P. Graham of Cockermouth. The auction house described it as:- 76cm /30 inch barrels numbered 23 and signed on the rib, with foliate engraved sidelock hammers and over lever break, with chequered walnut butt and fore-end. Condition report Right barrel in at .729 and out at .729 mean .719. Left Barrel in at .710 and out at .719 mean .716. I bought this at Tennants in 2012. It cost me £97.

I Later found it to be Black Powder Proof only. Initial Research shows G.P.Graham was established in 1803 and in 1890 were at Station Street Cockermouth. Sometime between 1894 and 1897 the firm changed its name to G.P. Graham 32 Station Road, then between 1930 and 1936 they moved to Victoria Road and changed the name to G.P. Graham and Son. It later became the ‘Sportsmans House’ and there was no trace of the company by the 1970s.

I have a W.J.Jeffrey Damascus barrelled 12 bore hammer gun, originally bought by my Great Grandfather in an estate sale prior to the first world war.

It has been handed down through the family and I am its present custodian.

We have a lovely Malloch hammer gun here, non rebounding hammers, under lever and 30" Damascus barrels which really should be getting used.
