25 minutes to WDRPC.
1 hour + to MOD ranges or Practical.
Pretty good in Cheshire really compared to a lot of other places.

Suggest you approach one (or more) of the clubs that utilise the Altcar range complex at Formby. This is an excellent facility and is just up the road from you. Some clubs use the range twice a month and shoot at anything from 100 to 600 yards. 1000 yards is available in the summer months. If you care to pm me, I can give you the details of such a club .

10-15mins each way for indoor 25m
30 - 90mins each way for outdoor 100 - 1800yds

Southampton to Bisley for centrefire (50 miles each way), 20 miles to Andover for smallbore.

Diggle is a good option for you. The drive will be easier once the road works are done on the M62. (12 months or so to go). Just watch the speed cameras.
An hour each way is my limit really, I would love to try Pheonix but its too far for me. Maybe one day for a day out.
