They don't exactly come for sale that often though, I'd be surprised if there's even 1 per year go up for sale.daryldiane wrote:That looks a possibility. as you said a bit far though.

I'd love one as well.

"they may need a good clean as they have been in storage for many years"
Surely these rifles have been taken out of storage and cleaned, then had the relevant work done to get them to Section 1 spec (I would hazard a guess and say by LDT in Luxembourg), then submitted to the Home Office for Section 1 approval and then proofed ( in Belgium if they are by LDT) before being shipped to the UK as a Section 1 firearm......so why would they need a good clean after being in storage for many years?.
If I was paying £1600 I'd want it to arrive clean as a whistle!*
*that said I don't mind a Mosin covered in donkeys years old Cosmoline, but then I ain't paying £1600 for one!.

If they have been through proof then they would need a good clean. Never mind a thorough covid-19 bleaching.

Re: M1 Carbine Straight Pull
I'd be cautious with the valmont offered ones. I don't think they have gone through anything like the process ITL went through getting theirs done.
I do believe the tunnel shop / tactical solutions have one, not sure if its for sale or not.

I don't believe the HO 'approve' designs.snayperskaya wrote:... submitted to the Home Office for Section 1 approval...
When I've spoken to them in the past about this they offer guidance and finally say any definitive decision will be made in court, if it comes to it.
